Day
1:SANTIAGO
Reception at the airport and transfer
to the Hotel. In the afternoon departure
for a comprehensive city tour of Santiago.
We will start the tour at the San Francisco
Church, which was built between 1572
and 1618. Then we will continue West
visiting the "Club Hípico"
horse-racing course, which is considered
one of the most beautiful courses in
South America. We will then pass the
Palacio de la Moneda, current seat of
government, the Plaza de Armas, where
we will see important National Monuments,
such as the Iglesia Catedral (The Cathedral
Church), Correo Central (The Main Post
Office) and the Municipalidad de Santiago
(The City Hall). We will continue our
trip going to the Cerro Santa Lucía
, where the city was founded in 1541.
We will then cross the Mapocho river
and then pass through different residential
districts giving us an overview of the
city. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day
2:SANTIAGO / VALPARAISO /
VIÑA DEL MAR / SANTIAGO Breakfast at the hotel. This full
day tour starts from the hotel. On the
1 ½ trip to Valparaíso,
we can observe the variety of scenery
and vegetation in the Curacaví
and Casablanca valleys, as well as the
Coastal Mountains. Arriving to Valparaíso,
the main commercial port of Chile, we
will see clusters of houses built along
the hills. On one of the hills is La
Sebastiana, the former home of the Nobel
Prize winning poet , Pablo Neruda, and
which houses a wide collection of his
bric a brac. We will pass the National
Congress building and then drive along
Pedro Montt Avenue, from where we can
see the Italian Park, Victoria Square
and the Cathedral. On the Avenida Brasil
we will see the British Arch, the Regional
Government Building and the statue to
Lord Cochrane. After this, we will pass
through the Chinese Quarter, the monument
to the heroes of Iquique, Prat Quay,
the historic elevators of the Port of
Valparaíso, the former Customs
House and the El Membrillo cove. We
will visit the Playa Ancha Hill, the
Municipal Stadium and the Navy School.
We will then take the coastal road to
Viña del Mar, also known as "The
Garden City". Places of interest
are the Floral Clock, the Abarca Cove,
the Arab Union Club, Wulff Castle, the
Marga-Marga estuary, the Municipal Casino,
Peru Avenue, Acapulco beach and Vergara
Quay. Our trip continues along the coast
passing the beaches of The Marines,
as well as Las Salinas, Reñaca
and Cochoa beaches and up to the sea-wolf
viewing point. We will then stop for
lunch (not included). We will then return
to the center of Viña del Mar
ue, from where we get right into downtown
Viña del Mar, where we will find
the Francisco Vergara Square, the Municipal
Theatre and Sucre Square. Return to
the hotel in Santiago. Overnight.
Day
3:SANTIAGO / PUERTO MONTT
or PUERTO VARAS Reception at Puerto Montt Airport
and transfer to the hotel in Puerto
Montt or Puerto Varas. In the afternoon
we will take a city tour of Puerto Montt,
starting with a visit to the Plaza de
Armas and the Cathedral. Then we will
go to the top of one of the citiy's
4 hills (Melipulli), for a panoramic
view of Puerto Montt. Then we will visit
the beach-resorts of Pelluco and Chinquihue,
and on the way we will see the fish
factories, Naval and Marine shipyards,
and at the end of our trip to this district,
we will see the handicraft market of
Angelmó. Later, we will continue
our journey to Puerto Varas also known
as the "City of Roses" We
will drive along Costanera Ave. Until
we get to Puerto Chico, where we will
see the houses of the first German pioneers.
We will then return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day
4:PUERTO MONTT or PUERTO
VARAS Breakfast at the Hotel. Day at
leisure. We suggest to take an optional
excursion to the city of Frutillar,
well known for its German influence
or to Chiloe Island a mystical archipelago
and one of the most fascinating places
in Chile.Overnight at the hotel in Puerto
Varas.

5:PUERTO MONTT or PUERTO
VARAS / LAKE TODOS LOS SANTOS / PEULLA Breakfast at the hotel. At the
specified time we will take the S.I.B.
Lakes Crossing service to Peulla. We
will drive along the edge of Lake Llanquihue,
near the Calbuco volcano, and then enter
the Vicente Pérez Rosales National
Park, from where we will be able to
see the majesty of the Osorno volcano,
the waterfalls of Petrohué river
and Lake Todos los Santos. We will sail
the beautiful emerald-coloured waters
of this lake where you will be able
to appreciate the shore bordered by
native forests, mountains, volcanoes,
hills and waterfalls. Arrival to Peulla,
a little mountain village situated on
the eastern shore of Lake Todos los
Santos. Dinner and overnight at the
hotel in Peulla.
Day
6:PEULLA / LAKE NAHUEL HUAPI
/ SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE Breakfast at the hotel. We continue
our journey to San Carlos de Bariloche.
We will cross the Vicente Pérez
Rosales border point, up to Lake Frías
from where we will sail to Puerto Blest.
After a short bus ride, we will continue
sailing for the last part of our trip,
crossing Lake Nahuel Huapi until we
reach Puerto Pañuelo. We will
then continue on to Bariloche by bus,
leaving the passengers at the hotel
in Bariloche. Overnight.
Day
7:SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE
/ BUENOS AIRES Breakfast at the Hotel. We will
take a half day tour visiting the city,
including Playa Bonita, from where we
can see Huemul Island. Later on we will
get to the foot of Campanario Hill where
an option is to take the chair lift
to the top the hill, We will cross the
bridge to La Angostura which links Lakes
Moreno, Nahuel and López Bay
and arrive to Punto Panorámico,
a natural balcony with views over Lake
Moreno and the Llao-Llao peninsula.
On the return trip we will go along
the edge of the El Trébol Lagoon.
Arrival to the Hotel in Bariloche. In
the afternoon, transfer to the airport.
Reception at Buenos Aires airport. Transfer
to the hotel in Buenos Aires. Overnight.
Day
8:BUENOS AIRES Breakfast at the hotel. Our ½
day morning tour will begin with the
Civic Centre, visiting the National
Congress and May Square surrounded by
Government House, the Cathedral and
City Hall, and the Colon Theatre. We
will then visit the barrio of San Telmo,
(Sundays include the Flea Market), and
La Boca, with its colourful architecture.
We will then go to the residential area
of Palermo. Finally, we will go to Recoleta,
the city's most exclusive district,
with its famous cemetery, boutiques,
restaurants and side walk cafés.
In the evening you will be taken to
a restaurtant for dinner with Tango
Folk show. Overnight.
Day
9: BUENOS AIRES Breakfast at the hotel. At an agreed
time, transfer to the airport to board
your departure flight
