Day: AREQUIPA
Reception at the Arequipa airport
and transfer to the selected hotel.
Lodging.
In the morning, you will visit the second
biggest city of Perú which conserves
ancient the architectonic treasures,
and modern districts as the Residential
Selva Alegre area.
You will also visit the Main square,
the Cathedral, the polychrome Dome of
"La compañia de Jesús",
which has cloisters with ashlar (volcanic
white stone or "sillar") arcades;
Yanahuara square, San Francisco church,
the Chilina's Valley and the well-known
Santa Catalina convent. |

2nd.
Day: AREQUIPA / CUSCO
Breakfast. Transfer from your
hotel in Arequipa to board your flight
to Cusco. Reception at the Velasco Astete
Airport and transfer to the hotel. Lodging.
Rest of the morning free to get acclimatized
at 3 360 m.a.t.l. altitude.
In the afternoon, a City Tour walking
through the Cathedral, Qorikancha or
the Sun Temple and the surroundings
ruins: The Sacsayhuamán Fortress:
People think it was an astronomic observatory
and is used to the meditation because
of its great accumulated cosmic energy.
You will visit Q'enqo, this place was
used for worship and ceremonial center,
Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay or Inca's
Bath. |

3rd.
Day: CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Breakfast. Full day excursion
to Machu Picchu archeological complex,
located in a subtropical Cusco area
at 2 350 m.a.s.l.
Transfer from your hotel to the train
station to start your guided visit.
You will visit the marvelous Machu Picchu
Citadel where you will walk trough its
squares, temples, terraces, worship
centers and its Royal Palace. You will
also visit the "Intiwatana"
or Solar Clock and several beautiful
natural water fountains carved on rock.
In the afternoon return to Cusco by
train, reception and transfer to the
hotel. |

Day: CUSCO /PUNO
Breakfast. At fixed time, transfer
from your hotel to the bus station,
to begin your trip to Puno. At your
arrival, reception and transfer to the
selected hotel. Lodging. |

5th.
Day: PUNO
Breakfast.
In the morning, visit on boat to the
Uros Island, where the Lake Settlers
are still living as their ancestors,
keeping their costumes, culture and
its community life. The Islands are
located in the Titicaca National Reserve.
The Uros are descendants of one of the
oldest towns of America. Their main
activity is fishing and hunting.
In the afternoon, a visit to the archeological
Sillustani area located 34 kms. from
Puno City at 4,000 m.a.s.l. The Chullpas
are big funerary monuments (necropolis)
on an esplanade in a peninsula shape.
The Collas built it beside the beautiful
Umayo Lagoon. This square and round
edification's have 12 meters height
and the way they have been done is a
challenge for the balance laws, because
they are smaller at the bottom than
at the top. |

Breakfast.
At fixed time, transfer from your hotel
to the airport to board your flight
to Arequipa. Reception and transfer
to your selected hotel. |
