Day
01: Buenos Aires
Transfer from the Hotel to the domestic
airport to board our flight to Rio Gallegos
.Assistance and transfer from the airport
by bus for the 230 Km. drive southwest
to Punta Arenas.
Halfway into the journey we cross the
border into Chile and get our first
view of the Strait of Magellan, the
waterway that separates Tierra del Fuego
from the South American continent.-
Lunch on route. Accommodation at the
Hotel. |

Day
02: Punta Arenas
After breakfast we leave Punta Arenas
and head north towards Puerto Natales.
On the way we stop at the penguin colony
at Seno Otway. We also get a chance
to sea rheas and the occasional guanaco.
The drive to Puerto Natales takes 4
or 5 hours. Upon arrival at this town
we visit the old port before heading
towards the Paine National Park. Lunch
en route. Accommodation at a Hostal.

Day
03 to 08: Paine National Park
We continue on into the National
park and make our way to Laguna Azul,
where we start to trek along the lake
shore and get our first impressive views
of the Towers of Paine. We go further
into the Park to Laguna Amarga where
we meet our mules and mule skinners.
On the second day we trek to the base
camp of the towers- the point where
most climbers starts on their attempt
of the 2.800 mts. peaks. We also trek
to Laguna Torre where huge glaciers
snake down to the lake. Next we drive
to Rio Serrano for an overnight at a
hostal before continuing to the stunning
Lago Pehoe where we trek along the shores
to our camp enjoying great views of
the 'Horns of Paine'.
Another full day of trekking to Lago
Grey with great views of the Continental

Day
09 to 12: Fitz Roy/Los Glaciares National
Park
We cross the frontier to Argentina
and then continue by bus across the
Patagonian desert to El Calafate for
overnight. We depart early the following
morning for the drive towards the mountains
and the Fitz Roy Massif.
Mount Fitz Roy is found at the northern
end of the park and is part of a range
of bizarre peaks including the needle
like rock pinnacle of Cerro Torre. Our
first camp is at Rio Las Vueltas. During
the next two days we actually trek to
the base camp of Cerro Torre. Our last
camp is on the shores of Laguna Torre-great
chance for superb sunset shots-. Full

13 & 14: Argentine Lake and Perito
Moreno Glacier
We drive back to El Calafate
for overnight and then a full day visit
to Perito Moreno Glacier. Overnight.

15: El Calafate
Transfer to the airport and assistance
for boarding the flight to:
Buenos Aires: Assistance and transfer
to the hotel. Overnight. Breakfast included. |

16: Buenos Aires
Transfer from the Hotel to the
