This is a very important
mediterranean province with a very pleasant and
mild weather. It offers several attractive places,
such as its many streams and rivers, very old
colonial villages, hundreds of churches and a
highly traditional and cultivated population.
This
half day tour takes us to the Cathedral, the
old Town Hall, Sobremonte Museum, Monserrat
School founded in 1685, the University and
the Paseo de las Artes. We will continue the
visit around this modern city, the second
largest in Argentina, on to the residential
district of Cerro de las Rosas.
This
is a very interesting full day tour visiting
the many pretty villages along this valley
such as Carlos Paz, on the San Roque lake
shore. Then we continue on to Bialet Masse,
Cosquin Capital of Argentine Folklore Music,
La Falda, La Cumbre and Los Cocos, all of
them very charming summer villages.
We leave along
the same route as for the previous tour up
to Villa Carlos Paz. From there we continue
to the south passing by Alta Gracia, La Serranita,
General Belgrano Village and Santa Rosa de
Calamuchita. On the way we'll enjoy the scenery
of hills and lakes and Los Molinos Dam and
its important and picturesque tourist village.
